Latest Fortnite news and lore
Island Dispatch is an unofficial fan site. We cover updates, events and the story of the island, and we always tell you whether something is confirmed, a rumour, a leak or a fan theory.
How we label stories
Every story carries one label, so you always know how sure we are.
- Status: Confirmed
- Confirmed by Epic Games or another official Fortnite source.
- Status: Rumour: unconfirmed
- Unconfirmed. This is based on reports or claims we have not been able to verify. Treat it as possible, not certain.
- Status: Leak: unconfirmed
- Unconfirmed. This comes from unofficial sources such as data-mined game files. Epic Games has not confirmed it, and it may change or never happen.
- Status: Theory: fan interpretation
- Fan theory. This is our own interpretation of the story, based on the evidence listed under Sources below. It is not confirmed by Epic Games and could turn out to be wrong.
